A report was submitted to the court against Nahid Jahan Muna, Sub-registrar of Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district including 6 others by PBI (Police Bureau of Investigation), Bagerhat on the charge of registration of lands through forgery and fraud. After presenting a fake owner of lands of one late Ranajit Kumar Pal registered in favour of one illegally.
Ashraful Alam, Inspector of PBI, Bagerhat investigated into the matter and found its authenticity as primary basis and submitted the investigation report to the court of the Senior Judicial Magistrate of Bagerhat district recently (on February 20, 2024).
It is reported that Nahid Jahan Muna. Sub-registrar of Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district registered 0.60 acre (some 60 decimals) land of one late Ranajit Kumar Pal of village Bardia under the Upazila (Rampal) in favour of one Dinesh Chandra Pal of village Gilatala of the same Upazila through a fake owner of the land on February 07 in the year 2023. The deed number is 344.
Being informed of the matter Bishwajit Pal, son of late Ranajit Kumar Pal (the owner of the land) submitted a petition case to the court (Rampal)-2 at Bagerhat district headquarters on March 29, in the year 2o23 (the case number is 25/2023). Md. Abdur Rahman, Police Super of PBI, Bagerhat after receiving the copy of the case from the court handed over the responsibility to Inspector Ashraful Alam, PBI to investigate into the matter. After a long investigation the Police Officer found the authenticity of the petition and submitted the investigation report to the court accusing Nahid Jahan Muna, Sub-registrar of Rampal, Jagadis Chandra Mandol, fake owner of the land, Ratan Kumar Pal, UP Secretary, his father Dinesh Chandra Pal, Rita Rani Pal and (the deed writers) Sabuj Mandol, Sayed Galib Hossain and Rathindra Kumar Pal.
