Samira Khan Mahi is one of the promising actresses of the time. By portraying a wide range of characters in television dramas, she has proven herself as a capable performer.
Beyond TV dramas, she has also showcased her talent through OTT projects. Even as the year draws to a close, she remains quite busy with new drama projects.
Recently, she completed work on a serial titled Dear Ladies, directed by Imrul Rafat.
The series revolves around the lives of several women. Mahi said it is a beautifully written and well-crafted project, and she believes audiences will enjoy it.
Over the past few months, she has also finished nearly half a dozen single-episode dramas.
In these projects, she worked opposite Mushfiq R. Farhan and Arsh Khan, under the direction of Imrul Rafat, Mabrur Rashid Bannah, among others.
During the conversation, Mahi also shared another piece of news. She has completed work on a web series.
However, she said it is not possible to reveal details at the moment, and an official announcement may come soon.
There has been discussion multiple times about her debut on the big screen. However, Mahi has now made it clear that films are not her priority at this time.
Explaining why, she said she is content working in television dramas and OTT content, as she consistently receives love from audiences there. She added that it is not mandatory to work in films.
Mahi further said that in the past, many topics beyond her work have been discussed about her, but now she is focused solely on her career.
She feels she is going through a stable phase and hopes this period continues for a long time.
