Legendary folk singer Fakir Alamgir lost his battle for life on Friday night, while under treatment at United Hospital in the capital. Mashuk Alamgir, son of the singer, confirmed the passing of one of the country’s most recognisable and beloved icons. “He took his last breath at 10:56 pm tonight,” Mashuk said.
