White fish worth Tk.50 thousand was stolen from a pond belonging to one Babul Chakrabarty of Mulghar area under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagrhat district at Tuesday night (May 15) by a gang of miscreants after pouring the liquid poison in the pond, according to a delayed news received here.
It was confirmed by Shawn Chakrabarty, son of Babul Chakrabarty and told, after using the poison in the pond the miscreants caught the fish with fishing nets. The Matter was brought to the notice of Fakirhat PS.
