First hajj flight with 419 pilgrims left Ctg Airport

A Bangladesh Airlines flight left for Madinah around 4:00am yesterday with 419 pilgrims from Shah Amanat International Airport for Madinah airport. Airport Director Group Captain Taslim Ahmed confirmed the matter to The New Nation.
This year, 22 dedicated flights from Chattogram will leave from Chattogram for Medina and Jeddah. Of these, 5 will go to Medina.
More than 3,000 pilgrims will be transported on these flights. Chattogram District Manager Sajal Barua said that all necessary steps have been taken to send the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia properly. Different directions have also been given to the concerned in this regard.
