bdnews24.com : A fire at Karnaphuli Garden City in Dhaka’s Shantinagar has been controlled. It was not clear how the fire erupted and spread across the third floor of the 19-storey high-rise on Saturday morning. Fire Service control room official Monirul Islam said seven fire-fighting units controlled the fire nearly 40 minutes after it had erupted. No casualty was reported so far and the extent of the damage was yet to be ascertained, Islam said.
