Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali poses for a photograph after handing over the WCO certificates of merit awards to 17 officials of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) marking the ‘International Customs Day 2024’ at the NBR Building in the capital on Friday. NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, Agriculture Ministry Secretary Wahida Aktar and Finance Division Secretary Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, among others, attended by the occasion while NBR Member Masud Sadiq presented the keynote paper. Along with 17 officers of NBR, the World Bank Bangladesh office, the agriculture ministry, and the National Telecommunication Monitoring Centre were also awarded for their contribution to customs.
