FIFA approved second payment of Taka 3,98,684 for injured national midfielder Masuk Mia Jony’s treatment under the ‘Club Protection’ scheme. Masuk Mia Jony suffered injury at match day practice session in Tajikistan between Bangladesh and Afghanistan (FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifiers) match on September 10 last year. Earlier, in February, Jony got the first payment of near about Taka four lac for his injury treatment after BFF formally applied to FIFA for financial assistance for the injury treatment of Jony.
