Dhallywood’s popular film actor Ferdous Ahmed’s time is not going well. He lost his position as a member of the Parliament after seven months.
Since then there is no trace of Ferdous like other MPs (Member of the Parliament) of Awami League.
Now it is known that Ferdous was left out of a movie in Kolkata due to his silence in the student movement.
Ferdous was supposed to act in Arkadeep Mallika Nath’s movie titled ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2’. On Saturday, producer of the movie, Rana Sarkar, said that Ferdous is no longer in this movie.
Producer Rana Sarkar told media, “The movie has been planned to be made targeting two Bengali audiences. Keeping in mind the emotions of the people of Bangladesh, especially the students, I will not cast any actor from Bangladesh in any of my movies, who did not support the anti-discrimination student movement. That’s why we are not putting Ferdous in the movie. Besides, he was not responding for some time. We have not received any response from him even after repeatedly contacting him since last January.”
Earlier last year, the look of the actors was officially announced for the movie ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2’. The shooting of the movie has not started yet. Was this delay due to Ferdous? In response to such a question, Rana Sarkar replied, “The shooting of the movie was supposed to start in 2023, but it was not possible. It is not because of Ferdous, it is a little late due to various reasons. Since it will be shot in the Indo-Bangladesh border area, permission is required to shoot there.”
Regarding talking about the future of the movie ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2’, this producer also said, “I wanted to do the work with the artists of both countries as there is a release plan in two countries. But in the current situation, it is difficult to work with previous artistes. If the movie is not to released in two Bengals, it will not be effective. The movie should not be released only in West Bengal. If it is possible to release it in Bangladesh, I will plan to make the movie.”
Meanwhile, Bangladeshi hero Ziaul Roshan is said to act in this movie. Producer Rana Sarkar said that Roshan will be there when the work of the movie starts in the future.
While talking in this regard, Rana Sarkar said, “We have no problem with Roshan. He will be contacted before the start of the shooting. If he wants to act, of course he will. At that time Ferdous Bhai’s replacement will be done.”
It is noted that the script of the movie ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2’ is being written on the story of village politics.
