For the first time, Dhaka-based film actor Ferdous Ahmed won the Dhaka-10 constituency in the national parliamentary elections with the Awami League’s boat symbol.
However, this hero did not have the fortune to remain as a member of parliament even for a year after the election. Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country on August 5 last year due to a demand from the students and the public.
After the news of Sheikh Hasina’s departure, many government ministers and MPs also left the country. Parliament was dissolved a day later. After that, not only did Awami League-supported stars hide their faces, but many others fled the country.
This list includes film actor Ferdous Ahmed. Ferdous came out publicly with Rituparna and Moushumi after almost a year.
They were seen in a viral video, which also featured West Bengal actress Rituparna Sengupta and Bangladeshi film actress Moushumi.
In the video, Ferdous said that this was the first time they had gone to New York together.
In his words, “Something can be said about these two great heroines, the three of us have done a lot of work. The three of us have only worked in one movie.”
They were seen in a very happy mood. Meanwhile, in the video, Moushumi said, “I have tried many times to get the three of us together, but it never happened.”
