A colorful rally to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Feni Development Forum (FDF) started from Feni’s Salam Committee Center and ended at Feni’s Central Shaheed Minar on Tuesday.
The speakers said – Feni Development Forum has been agitating for a long time for various demands including the development of Feni, especially the establishment of a medical college, the resumption of the Feni-Bilonia railway line, and the construction of the Muchapur closure.
Feni Development Forum started its journey 10 years ago with the efforts of Khalilur Rahman, a renowned journalist from Feni.
The rally was moderated by the acting president of the Development Forum, Advocate Samir Chandra Karer, and the general secretary of the forum, former Feni Municipality Panel Mayor Omar Faruk Bhuiyan Belal. Deputy Director of the Local Government Department and Feni Municipality Administrator Golam Md. Baten were present as the chief guests, and leaders of various social and political organizations of Feni participated in the rally.
