The people of Raozan irrespective of caste and creed and the leaders, activists of Upazila Awami league and its front organizations assembled in front of party office at Munsirghata squarein Raozan sadar on Sunday afternoon to know the results of nominations in the coming national parliament election.
After announcement of the party tickets to the deserving the nomination aspirants including the incumbent MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury from Raozan constituency, the huge jubilant procession was brought out from the Upazila sadar of Munsirghat led by Poura Mayor Jamiruddin Parvez.
Upazila AL leaders and front organisation leaders including chairman of Union Parishads participated the procession.
The procession paraded the poura and upazila sadar throughfare of Rangamati highway and ended at party office premises in Munsirghat at 7:00pm.
Sweets were distributed on the occasion among the participants and well-wishers of the party. Poura Mayor Jamiruddin Parvez addressed the huge rally in front of party office.
Senior vice president of the upazila awami leagueAnowarul Islam was the special guest in the rally duly moderated by Panel Mayor Bashiruddin Khan.
The speakers in the rally, urges people of the upazila to caste vote to boat symbol and prayed long life of the incumbent MP. This is the sixth term of ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhry contesting the national parliamentary election from Raozan.
