Bangladeshi actress Tasnia Farin was supposed to act opposite Dev in a Kolkata movie named ‘Pratiksha’.
Directed by Abhijit Sen, the shooting was supposed to start in Kolkata and UK at the beginning of November.
But Farin is no longer in the movie.
In the recent situation of the two countries, Tasnia Farin has been left out of the movie.
Meanwhile, Tasnia Farin told this correspondent, “I withdrew from the movie due to various uncertainties. I took this decision after a long discussion with the producer of the movie, Atanu Roy Chowdhury. For now the movie is not happening anymore.”
The actress also said, “After the fall of the Awami League government, visa complications have arisen from Bangladesh. Now it takes time to get the Indian visa. The problem is that the shooting cannot be done in the scheduled month of November. But getting the visa from Bangladesh at the right time is now uncertain. Due to these reasons, I am not working in the movie anymore.”
Earlier, Tasnia Farin was supposed to work in another Kolkata movie named ‘Patri Chai’. That too was canceled last year.
Tasnia Farin calls the cancellation of two consecutive movies a coincidence.
