A case has been filed on Thursday by DB police against writer and poet Farhad Mazhar and his wife Farida Akhter for “staging a drama in the name of abduction.”
DB Inspector Mahbubul Haque, also investigation officer of the noted columnist’s abduction case, filed the lawsuit with Adabar Police Station accusing them of staging the abduction drama.
The case documents were submitted to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court of Dhaka yesterday evening and it will be presented before the court on the next working day, court sources said.
