Entertainment Report :
Anybody can remember musician Mashiur Rahman Rinku! This singer came to the attention of the audience through the Close-up One competition in 2005. He created his own fan base in a short time by singing folk songs. However, the singer suffered a serious illness right at the beginning of his career, and somehow withdrew from singing.
It is said that this singer has suffered four strokes. He had two strokes in 2020 alone. Needless to say, this musician who used to entertain the audience with his songs is not doing well now. Now he has one leg paralyzed; he walks with a limp.
Currently, Rinku is staying at her home in Boro Sawta, Atrai Upazila, Naogaon. The singer also faced the media last year for stepping away from singing. All of that has now come into the spotlight again. Regarding her physical condition, Rinku said that she is battling the disease every day; due to a stroke, her speech has become somewhat sluggish.
Meanwhile, Rinku was seen at the Music Festival and Bijoy Utsab held at Mukti Mor in Naogaon city last Saturday. Many of his fans were heartbroken after hearing him sing while he was sick. The video of that moment went viral on social media.
In the caption of that video, someone wrote, “Mashiur Rahman Rinku is another name for effort, hardship, emotion, enthusiasm, inspiration, request and love. He is very sick. Even then, the love that the audience has for Rinku is proven.’ Fans’ comments there are like this – ‘We pray for him, wish him well.”
Meanwhile, Rinku once lamented that no one cares about her now. No one even uses her. She said, “People in the industry are selfish. I didn’t get much help from anyone after I got sick. Even my friends from Close-Up One don’t care.”
Rinku’s words are making fans’ hearts flutter! A fan recently shared her picture on social media and wrote, “Four strokes, shattered dreams – singer Rinku’s life story is full of tears. Let’s all pray for Rinku together.”
However, giving hope to her fans, Rinku also said, “I’m a little better than before. Maybe if I get better treatment, I will be able to recover and return to singing.”
