Expatriate’s son murdered in Madhukhali

Police have recovered the body of TamimTalukder (12), a fourth-grade student of an expatriate, in Madhukhaliupazila of Faridpur, four days after he went missing. His body was recovered from a field in GadaBattala in Banshpur area of Korkadi union of Madhukhaliupazila on Monday night.
The deceased TamimTalukder is a fourth-grade student of BoroGopaldi Government Primary School in Raipur union. He is the son of ShamimTalukder, a Saudi expatriate from BoroGopaldi village of Madhukhaliupazila. This tragic incident has cast a shadow over Tamim’s family and the entire area.
The Madhukhali police have arrested two people named Tuhin (32) and Amirul (25) in this incident. Tuhin’s house is in Mohammadpur police station of Magura district and Amirul’s house is in Sadar police station of Magura district.
Police said that Tamim went missing on August 15. That night, the family called the police and demanded a ransom of 15 lakh taka.
When the family filed a complaint in this incident, the police arrested a young man named Tuhin Sheikh on August 18.
Later, according to the information provided by him, the police recovered the body covered with garbage in the alley of a land in GadaBattala in Banshpur area of Korkadi union of the same upazila that night.
