Anti-discrimination students, BNP, Jamaat, Islami Andolan and various political organizations and journalists held an view exchange meeting with the police department at Ishwardi police station. On Wednesday on Monday afternoon, Pabna’s newly appointed Superintendent of Police Mortoza Ali Khan was the chief guest at the consultation meeting held at the police station hall.
In the speech as the Chief Guest, Superintendent of Police Mortoza Ali Khan sought everyone’s cooperation in bringing back the Ishwardi Thana Police to normal operations. He also called for ensuring the overall security of the Hindu community and ensuring the smooth functioning of the upcoming Durga Puja regardless of caste and religion.
Rafiqul Islam, officer in charge of the police station, presided over the meeting. Ishwardi Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Biplab Kumar Goswami and DSB Inspector Manjurul Islam were special guests. Conducted by Police Inspector (Investigation) Monirul Islam, Member Secretary of Upazila BNP Ajmal Homen Suchon, Acting Convenor of Municipal BNP SM Fazlur Rahman, Member Secretary Bishta Sarkar, Ameer Golam Azam of Municipal Jamaat, Convenor of Municipal Juba Dal Zakir Hossain Jewel, Member Secretary spoke at the meeting.
