The final exam for the first-year undergraduate students of the seven government colleges affiliated with Dhaka University, scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed.
This was announced in a notice signed by Mohammad Bahalul Haque Chowdhury, the controller of examinations at Dhaka University, on Wednesday.
The notice said that the exam for Thursday has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.
A revised schedule for the postponed exam will be announced soon.
However, all other exams according to the previously announced timetable will remain unchanged.
Earlier, the final exam for the fourth-year undergraduate students of the seven colleges, scheduled for Tuesday, was also postponed.
The decision came after significant damage to the infrastructure at the campuses of Shahid Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College in the capital following an attack on Sunday (November 24). As a result, two exams were postponed.
