Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested former principal secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and former National Board of Revenue (NBR) chairman Nazibur Rahman conducting an overnight drive in the city’s Ramna area.
“Detectives arrested Nazibur Rahman from Ramna area on Sunday night,” said Deputy Commissioner of Media and Public Relations of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Talebur Rahman, reports BSS.
Nazibur became NBR chairman and also the secretary of the Internal Resources Division (IRD) in 2015.
Later, he was made principal secretary to the PMO.
