The European Union (EU) has expressed all possible assistance to the interim government of Bangladesh, led by Chief Advisor Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, in its efforts to implement reforms initiatives and combat corruption.
Director of the Asia and Pacific Division of the European External Action Service Paula Pampaloni discussed the planning of European countries to support Bangladesh during a meeting with him at the Chief Adviser’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Ambassador and Chief Representative of the European Union in Bangladesh Michael Miller, was present at this time.
Confirming the support of the 27 member states of the European Union to Bangladesh, Pampaloni said to the chief adviser, “Our message is very clear. The European Union is on your side. We want to support your reform initiatives.
“There will be no shortage of funds for the reform initiatives and we will also provide technical assistance to carry out the works.”
