EU looks to boost coop with Bangladesh

The European Union (EU) has expressed its keen interest in enhancing cooperation with Bangladesh, emphasizing sustainable investment and economic collaboration.
EU Ambassador to Bangladesh, Michael Miller, reaffirmed this commitment while addressing a seminar on “Sustainable Investment Prospects in Bangladesh.” The event was organized by Business Beyond Borders in Sylhet at a prestigious hotel on Wednesday evening.
During his speech, Ambassador Miller highlighted the EU’s dedication to strengthening economic relations with Bangladesh. He commended the efforts of the Europe Bangladesh Federation of Commerce and Industries (EBFCI) in fostering business growth and sustainable development. The seminar was jointly organized by EBFCI and Rose View Hotel.
Other speakers at the seminar discussed strategies for expanding regional business opportunities, uniting entrepreneurs and potential partners, and exploring new avenues for cooperation between Europe and Bangladesh.
The seminar was chaired by Mohammad Ali Tinku, Executive Director and Bangladesh Country Head of EBFCI.
The event was attended by prominent members of the Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industries, along with Bangladeshi business leaders from Sylhet residing in Europe.
The discussions reflected the growing interest of European investors in Bangladesh’s evolving economic landscape, highlighting the potential for stronger trade ties and collaborative initiatives.
