Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dr Shafiqur Rahman said that Jamaat has been struggling to establish the equal rights of the people through the formation of a humanitarian and welfare state.
Two of our ministers performed state duties in the past, no corruption was found against them, but during Hasina’s government, thousands of crores of rupees were smuggled and the state treasury was emptied. All these smuggled money will be brought back and spent for the welfare of the people.
He addreees massive programme as the chief guest at the historic Nomani Maidan in Magura on Thursday (January 16) morning. He also said that Jamaat-e-Islami never compromises against ethics and morals.
Azizur Rahman, executive member of Jamaat-e-Islam and assistant director of Jessore Kushtia region, and former Amir of Magura branch, Abdul Mateen, attended the meeting under the chairmanship of Amir of Magura District Jamaat Professor MB Baker.
Secretary of Magura District Jamaat Saeed Ahmed Bachchu, the leader of various organizations along with the secretary of non-Muslim branch of Jamaat, Uttam Kumar Biswas, addressed the gathering. At the end of the rally, artists from Rangdhanu Sangeet Shilpi Group performed Brind Islami songs.
