Engr. Mosharraf made Jamuna Bank’s Chairman

Engr. Mosharraf Hussain is elected Chairman of Jamuna Bank Limited. The 327th Board of Directors meeting on Thursday elected him as Chairman, said a press release. Prior, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank from 2002 to 2003. Engr. Mosharraf Hussain was born in Kazipur Upazilla in Sirajgonj District. He completes his Bachelor in Civil Engineering from BUET. During his student life, he started his own small business with his brother and after completing his graduation, he began his journey into the business world by starting up his own construction firm, The Civil Engineers Ltd. Later, he diversified into the garments sector which is today one of the top readymade garments manufacturer and exporter of the country. Currently he is the Managing Director of Standard Group, Chairman of The Civil Engineers Limited, Chairman of Amann Bangladesh Ltd. (a Bangladesh-Germany joint venture company) and was the Founder Chairman of Standard Insurance Limited. He was a CIP for numerous years. Presently, he is also working on many new projects in diversifying into various new industries.
