The English movie ‘Dot’ will be released in theaters across the country today (Friday). The dialogues of the movie, directed by Barua Sunanda Kankan, are written in English. The movie is produced by Barua Monojit Dhimon. The story and screenplay are written by Emon Barua, said a press release.
Producer Kankan said that the film has received permission from the Film Certification Board to be released with English dialogues. Therefore, the film is being released with English dialogues.
Regarding the story of the movie, director Kankan said, “The movie ‘Dot’ is made about the story of women trafficking and women’s struggle. Its screenplay is based on real events.
So, we had to go through a long research. Its length is 2 hours and 8 minutes. Keeping in mind the domestic audience as well as the foreign audience, the dialogue of the movie has been kept in English.”
Producer Barua Monojit said, “The members of the Censor Certification Board have praised the film. Now it is the audience’s turn to watch it. If they like it, our hard work and efforts will be successful. The film is releasing on Friday. The entire team is working on its release.”
A group of group theatre actors will be seen in the movie ‘Dot’. Barua Monojit Dhiman, Mishti Akhter, Pori, Rajibul Islam, Sonia Parvin Shapla, Mamun, Mostafizur Rahman, Kamrul Islam, Masud Chowdhury, Tariqul Islam Tarek, Abdul Barik Mukul, Sendy Kumar, and others have played various roles.
The producer said that the movie ‘Dot’ will be shown in various single screen cinemas across the country, in addition to multiplexes like Jamuna Blockbuster, Lion Cinemas, Rajshahi GRB, Bogra’s Madhuban, and Uttara’s Magic Movie Theatre.
