Chattogram City Corporation (CCC)
Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury commented that instead of the fate of the people who have become unemployed
due to Corona epidemic,
climate refugees and the poor class, allocation is being emphasised in the education and health
sector.
He made this comment while talking about the economic recovery project of BRAC, the world’s largest private development organisation.
In the president’s speech at the project notification meeting, the Mayor said that the corona epidemic has had a negative impact on Chattogram like the rest of the world. Again due to the global climate change due to the increase in the sea level, many people have lost their homes and are taking refuge in Chattogram. Improving the quality of life of these people is now a big challenge for Chattogram.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, there has been a radical change in the country’s economy. “I am working to ensure education and health services for the poor people of Chattogram to implement the plan he has taken to build a high-income Bangladesh by 2041. CCC is the only one in Bangladesh that gives subsidy in education sector. 80 educational institutions are being run with our funding,” he also said.
