Bangladeshi video creator Emrul Kausar Emon has achieved a remarkable milestone on the globally popular photo and video sharing platform Pexels. This month, he holds the top position in the Asia-Pacific leaderboard and has been named one of the top three video creators in all of Asia.
According to official Pexels statistics, Emon’s videos have garnered over 34.2 million views, including 6.5 million views in the last four weeks alone. His soaring popularity is evident—his videos are being downloaded seven times every second from users around the globe. Additionally, every second, 116 viewers are watching videos tagged with “Bangladesh,” a powerful testament to Emon’s influence and the global appeal of his content.
In the All-Time Creator Rankings, Emon currently sits at 14th place worldwide, a truly outstanding achievement for a relatively new contributor on the platform.
Owing to his massive international reach, Pexels has added the tag “BANGLADESH” to its homepage—a move prompted directly by Emon’s success. This addition significantly boosts the visibility of Bangladeshi creators and highlights the country’s growing presence in global visual media.
Speaking about his achievement, Emrul Kausar Emon said: “Representing my country globally is one of the greatest honors of my life. I want the world to see that Bangladesh is home to incredibly talented visual creators. I hope my journey encourages and empowers more young people from our country to step into the global creative arena.”
Following his unprecedented success, Emon plans to create more high-quality content showcasing Bangladesh’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and everyday life. He is also planning to launch a training platform for aspiring video creators in Bangladesh, aiming to nurture a new generation of globally competitive visual storytellers.
Notably, Emrul Kausar Emon is currently serving as a Senior Reporter at the daily Bhorer Dak. He also holds the position of General Secretary of the Rangpur Division Journalists Association, Dhaka (RDJA).
