Staff Reporter: Electricity and gas prices are set to go up from the first week of March.
Nasrul Hamid, minister of state for power, energy and mineral resources informed this today at his office in Secretariat.
The minister said that electricity prices will go up by 34 paisa per unit, and may increase to 70 paisa for higher-level consumers in the future.
However, the gas price will be increased only for those to be used for electricity production.
