Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangad at 8:30 am today.
Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yafes Osman, Government Institutions Committee Chairman and former Chief Whip ASM Firoz, officials and employees of the Parliament Secretariat and people from different areas participated in the Eid jamaat, according to a press release.
After the sermon and jamaat, a special munajat was offered seeking the welfare, happiness, peace and prosperity of the country and the nation as well as the entire Muslim ummah.
Khatib Imam of Parliament Secretariat Mosque Qari Abu Raihan conducted the munajat.
After the Eid jamaat, Speaker Shirin Sharmin exchanged Eid greetings with Jatiya Sangsad members and all the officials and employees of the Parliament Secretariat and their families at her residence.
