Egg sale at fair prices kicks off in Barishal

On the occasion of the holy Ramadan, by the initiative of Deputy Commissioner Shahidul Islam program, selling eggs at affordable and fair prices of Tk.110 per dozen started in various places of Barishal city.
On Thursday (March 28) morning in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, a program jointly organised by the offices of the deputy commissioner and livestock department with overall support of Gazi Poultry Farm and SS Poultry Farm.
Deputy Commissioner Shahidul Islam handing over eggs to a buyer inaugurated the egg selling in fair and affordable price program.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mondeep Gharai, Director of Livestock Department Dr. Abu Sufian, Barishal District Livestock Officer Dr. Nurul Amin, Probation Officer Sajjad Parvez, Poultry Association Central Executive Member Abdur Rahim Gazi and various officials of district administration and Livestock department were also present in the inaugural of the programme.
