Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) has signed an agreement yesterday with Spectrum Software and Consulting (Pvt.) Ltd. (SSCL) to implement OptiFin, a flagship Supply Chain Finance solution by SSLC.
Riad Mahmud Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking at EBL, and Mushfiqur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of SSCL, signed the agreement on Sunday, at EBL head office in Dhaka, according to a press release.Â
Riad Mahmud Chowdhury emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership, noting that SSCL’s technology will significantly enhance EBL’s Supply Chain Finance capabilities.
Mushfiqur Rahman expressed his appreciation for EBL’s confidence in locally developed FinTech solutions, which include Trade Finance Automation, Unified Data Center Monitoring (NMS), and AI-powered Central Bank Reporting tools.
