Eastern Bank PLC, declared 25 cash dividend for its shareholders for the year ended on 31 December 2023.
This dividend will be paid to the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31 of the previous year. As a result, shareholders will get a cash dividend of Tk 2.5 against every Tk 10 worth of shares, according to DSE & CES.
The AGM of the company will be held on 29 April, 2024 to announce the dividend and the record date for distribution of declared dividend to the shareholders has been fixed on April 2.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company for the financial year ended was Tk 5.07 while the profit per share was Tk 4.24.
The consolidated net asset value per share (NAPS) of the company for the period up to December 31, 2023 stood at Tk 33.57.
