Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Fazle Rabbi Miah on Monday visited lawmaker Meer Shawkat Hossain Hiron, who has been undergoing treatment in the city’s Apollo Hospitals.
The Deputy Speaker stayed there for some time and enquired about his health condition from the on-duty physicians. He also met the relatives and near ones of Hiron at the hospital and wished his early recovery.
Former Chief Whip and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on LGRD Ministry Abul Hasnat Abdullah, former state Minister for LGRD Jahangir Kabir Nanak, MP, and Talukdar Mohammad Yunus, MP, accompanied the Deputy Speaker during his visit to the ailing lawmaker at the hospital.
