DSHE DG pays tributes to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Professor Nehal Ahmed on Saturday paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

After laying the wreath, the DG stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation, reports BSS.
Later, he offered prayer seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, Bangamata, martyred members of the Bangabandhu family and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.

A special prayer was also offered for longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.
The DG signed the visitors’ book at the administrative building of Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.
Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Moinul Haque, upazila Awami League vice-president Md. Elias Hossain, and officials of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, among others, were present.
