A drug trader named Arifur Rahman (29) was arrested along with 21 bottles Phynsidil syrup by a contingent of RAB-6 (Khulna) from a turn (Mor) on Dhaka-Mongla Biswa Road under Fakirhat Upzila in Bagerhat district on Friday at noon. Arrested Arifur Rahman is the son of one Abdus Salam hails from the villge Chandkhali under Paikgacha Upazila in Khulna district. He was handed over to Fakihat Model PS at Friday night.
It is learnt from source of RAB that acting on secret information a skilled contingent of Khulna RAB-6 conducted a raid at Mor (turn) of Biswa Road under Fakirhat Upazila on Friday, arrested the drug trader, recovered 21 bottles of Phyensidil syrup and seized a motor-bike (used for his illegal drug business ) from his possession. Md. Ashraful Alam, Officer-in-charge of Fakirhat PS told, the drug trader who was arrested along wth Phensydil syrup by BAB-6 was sent to the court at Bagerhat district headquarters on Saturday after a case had been lodged with PS.
