“Hak Charo Bazz Poruk, Sobder Proyojon’- securing this slogans, a five day-long Natto Parbon-2014 (drama festival) has begun at the Selim Al Deen Mukta Mancha on The Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Wednesday.
Jahangirnagar Theatre, a leading cultural organization of JU has arranged the programme.
JU acting Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof MA Matin inaugurated the programme at the Selim Al Deen Mukta Manch.
On the first day of the festival, a drama ‘Joiboti Konnar Mon’ has been presented by Jahangirnagar Theatre. The 5-day long programme will be started at 7:00pm every day.
The drama ‘Lokhai’ will be presented by Oikik Theatre while ‘Outsider’ by Jahangirnagar Theatre, ‘Rokto Korobi’ by Prangonmor and ‘Somoer Projone’ by Theatre Art Unit will be presented on Thursday, Fiday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Besides, ‘Wiseman’ honour will be awarded to Kofil Uddin today while ‘Drama Personality’ honour will be awarded to Sudip Chokroborti on March 01.
The festival is open for all.
