Dr. Mohammad Mosaddek Hossain Biswas Dambel has been elected President and Dr. A. M. Shamim as General Secretary of the Bangladesh Private Hospital, Clinic and Diagnostic Owners Association (BPHCDOA) for the 2025–2027 term.
The Election Commission officially announced the results, declaring all 25 nominated candidates as winners for the 25-member executive committee. Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Liton has been elected as Senior Vice President, while Professor Dr. Salauddin Al Azad takes on the role of Treasurer.
The election was held on June 1, 2025, and saw participation from nationally renowned healthcare institutions. Leading private hospitals and diagnostics such as LabAid Hospital, EverCare Hospital, United Hospital, Square Hospital, Ibn Sina, Medinova Center, Bangladesh Specialized Hospital, and Fazlul Haque Collaborative Hospital took part in the voting process.
The newly elected committee is expected to lead the association in addressing key challenges in the private healthcare sector, improving service standards, and enhancing collaboration among private health institutions across the country.
The BPHCDOA plays a vital role in representing the interests of private healthcare providers and promoting the growth and regulation of private medical services in Bangladesh.
