bdnews24.com :The High Court has granted anticipatory bail to BNP leader and former health minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain in a money laundering case.The bench of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Zafar Ahmed granted bail for six weeks on Monday after the BNP leader surrendered in court.Another BNP leader, Barrister Moudud Ahmed argued for Mosharraf, while Additional Attorney General Md Momtajuddin Fakir stood for the state.On February 6, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Director Nasim Anwar filed the case against the BNP leader under the Money Laundering Prevention Act with the Ramna police.According to case details, Mosharraf had siphoned off over Tk 95.3 million between 2001 and 2006 when he was health minister.
