Noted Tagore exponent Dr Ahmed Rafique received the lifetime achievement award in AB Bank-Channel i Rabindra Mela 2014.
This award was given at a press conference held at Channel i office yesterday.
On the occasion of observance of 154th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore Rabindra Mela is scheduled to be held on the premises of Channel i office in the city’s Tejgaon area on May 8, Boishakh 25. The fair will be inaugurated at 11:05am, said the organisers at the conference.
Director General of Bangla Academy Dr Shamsuzzaman Khan, Managing Director of Channel i Faridur Reza Sagor, Director and Head of News of Channel i Shykh Siraj, Deputy Managing Director of AB Bank Ltd Sajjad Hussain, noted Tagore artiste Rezwana Chowdhury Bonnya, TV personality Aly Imam and noted cultural personality Nasir Uddin Yusuff, among others, were present at the conference.
