DNCC residents can pay holding tax online from now on

The residents of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) can pay their holding tax online from now on.

They can also file an application for trade license and pay its fee online, said a press release of the DNCC.

One can pay the holding tax online by registering his name through clicking the e-revenue option of the DNCC website, it said. One will get a personal dashboard after registering his name and he can pay the tax quickly in cash or cards by clicking the holding tax option, reports BSS.

Trade license fee can be paid through Dutch Bangla Agent Banking, bKash, mobile banking tap of Trust Bank and Nagad using the citizen portal.

At the same time, the holding tax of the new houses which are not included in the tax list, can pay the tax online through evaluating e-holding by own after giving required information by clicking the holding tax option.

The DNCC is now holding a tax fair in 24 centres in 10 zones under the DNCC from May 11 to simplify tax procedure and it will continue till May 30 next.
