Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) doesn’t want to file any case but want to keep trust on the departmental investigation by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in connection with the incident of three BCL leaders being beaten up at the Shabagh police station.
BCL President Saddam Hossain said this while talking to the media after meeting with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq on Monday afternoon.
“The police department is embarrassed about the incident and the DMP commissioner assured that those who are responsible for the incident will be punished,” the BCL President also added.
The BCL President Saddam Hussein and General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan met the DMP commissioner on Monday following the incident which stirred resentment among BCL leaders.
