A divisional conference was held in Rajshahi with the aim of increasing public awareness of human rights and determining measures to protect citizens’ rights. The day-long conference was organised on Saturday at the premises of Bir Sreshtha Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir Degree College in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj by the Rajshahi Division of the Bangladesh Human Rights Implementation Organisation.
The conference was chaired by Advocate Mohammad Moazzem Hossain Mehdi, a member of the National Committee and Rajshahi Divisional Representative of the Bangladesh Human Rights Implementation Organisation. Former Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University, Kushtia, Professor Rafiqul Islam, addressed the event as the chief guest.
