The recruitment interviews for over 2,500 job opportunities successfully concluded at Daffodil International University (DIU) as part of Job Utsob 2024. The two-day event, held at DIU’s campus in Birulia, Savar, ended on Saturday marking the third successful iteration of this festival.
With the participation of 130 leading companies offering more than 600 positions, the event served as a vital bridge between DIU’s talented students and prominent employers. It provided job seekers with a platform to prepare themselves for the professional world and kickstart their careers.
Speaking as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony, DIU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman remarked: “We believe that this third edition of ‘Job Utsob’ has helped our students find their desired jobs and provided them with the necessary guidance to prepare for the competitive job market.”
Job Utsob 2024 featured an array of enriching activities aimed at empowering participants and enhancing their employability.
DIU organised the event to uphold its commitment to fostering employment opportunities and aligning students’ skills with global market demands. The university strives to ensure its students are well-prepared for the competitive job market through a combination of academic excellence and practical experience.
The closing ceremony was attended by DIU Registrar Dr. Md. Nadir Bin Ali, Director of the Career Development Center (CDC) Dr. Tanvir Abir, along with other distinguished guests and students.
