Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbalhas been appointed as Pro-Vice Chancellor (VC) of Daffodil International University (DIU). Ministry of Education issued an official memo on July 31, 2025 confirmed his appointment as appointed by the Honorable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of Daffodil International University.
He formally handed over his joining letter yesterday on 07, August 2025 to Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, board of trustees of Daffodil International University. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees welcomed him at his new position and congratulated him, says a press release.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal began his teaching career in 2001 at Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) as a lecturer. Later in2002 when Daffodil International University (DIU) was established he joined there as a lecturer. With more than two decades of academic and administrative leadership, he has served as Head of the Department, Associate Dean, and now Dean, contributing significantly to the advancement of business education in Bangladesh.
