Police recovered 10 dismembered body parts of a young woman from two separate places in the city’s Uttara area on Sunday.
Eight pieces of legs and hands were recovered from
sector no-9 under Uttara thana at about 9:30am, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Uttara West Police Station Rafiqul Islam.
He said other two pieces of the body were recovered by Turag thana police from Turag area at about 11:00am.
We are trying to find out the remaining parts of the body, added the OC.
The identity of the deceased, aged around 30, could not be ascertained till the afternoon.
