An exchange meeting was held with the upazila education committee (UDC) to ensure education for disabled children in Tarasha of Sirajganj district.On September 18, 2024, the Upazila Education Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Upazila Executive Officer Switching Mong Marma at the Upazila Parishad hall organized by the Public Development Center (GUK). Upazila Education Officer Md. Musabbir Hossain Khan was present in the meeting. Representatives of various government and private departments of upazila level, journalists, district coordinators of Sightsavers donor organization and project staff were also present.
The Disability Inclusive Development (Task Order-45) project is being implemented by the Public Development Center and with the support of Sightsavers, 15 disabled students of 15 schools and 2 OPD organizations have been working to develop their capacity and skills in Tarash Upazila.
