Last July, film actress Parthana Fardin Dighi posted a wedding card on Facebook. One part of the card was a picture of her wearing
a lehenga and she covered the rest with her hand.
Then rumours started that Dighi is getting married.
A few days later, Dighi shared the poster of the web film titled ’36 24 36′ and said that the wedding is not hers, but her character Priyonti’s in this movie.
On July 18, OTT Platform Chokri was supposed to be released, but due to the unstable situation, the party withdrew from that decision. Finally the movie ’36 24 36′ is going to release. But not so much, Priyonti’s marriage will be seen in theatres.
The film has already been submitted to the Film Certification Board.
There has been a lull in the cinema since the anti-apartheid student movement. Even after two months of the interim government, the directors and producers still do not have the courage to release the movie.
Chorki authorities said that it has been decided to release this movie to make theatres operational.
CEO of Chorki, Redoan Rony said, “After the political change when no one was thinking about releasing content, Chorki showed the courage to release a web film. This time the plan is a little bigger. The theatres have been stagnant for a long time. Even if there is a new movie, many people are making various calculations to release it. We believe, Chorki’s this move will encourage many producers to release movies and audiences will return to theatres.”
The movie ’36 24 36′ is directed by Rezaur Rahman, written by Rezaur Rahman, Kareena Kaiser and Montasir Mannan.
It will be seen in the story, Priyonti (Dighi) agrees for marriage after countless casual and online dating. Her only desired destination wedding.
It means that this wedding should be held in a tourist centre far away, not at home or at the convention centre. Saira got the responsibility of Priyonti’s destination wedding.
Dighi played the role of Priyonti and Kareena Kaiser as Saira in the web film. Sayed Zaman Shawon, Mili Bashar, Golam Kibria Tanvir, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Manosh Bondyopadhyay, Rosy Siddiqui, Shamima Naznin, Abu Hurayra Tanvir, etc also acted in this film.
This is the fifth movie of Chorki’s ‘Ministry of Love’.
In this project, 12 filmmakers are making 12 original films with 12 love stories.
Noted filmmaker Mostafa Sarwar Farooki is in overall supervision of the whole project.
