The title of the new movie of director Sadeque Siddiqui is ‘Dena Paona’. This movie is going to be made with the government grant of 2022-2023. The shooting of this movie will continue for several days from January 23 at Hotapara’s Khatib Khamarbari near the capital.
Based on Rabindranath Tagore’s short story ‘Dena Paona’, the film will be made with the title ‘Dena Paona’, the director said.
However, there was discussion for the past few days about who is the main character ‘Nirupama’ in the story of this movie.
Finally, Sadeque Siddiqui said, “We are going to make the movie with the heroine that we thought of first. In other words, we are going to make the movie about our favourite Prarthana Fardin Dighi.
Director informed that Dighi has already signed a contract to play the role of ‘Nirupama’.”
The director is very excited to finalise Dighi as ‘Nirupama’.
Dighi herself is very excited to get the chance to act in Rabindranath Tagore’s story.
Expressing her feelings, Dighi told this correspondent, “To be honest, for the past two years, I was talking about working in this movie.
When I heard the story well from Sadeque Siddiqui Uncle, I felt that there is enough opportunity to play the role of ‘Nirupama’. Moreover, the movie will be made based on the story of Rabindranath Tagore; there is an absolute interest or love to do this work.
It seems to me that the whole team of Sadequq Siddiqui Uncle will prepare the work with great sincerity. So that there are no mistakes and the audience goes to theatres and enjoys the movie after its release with great interest.”
Screenplay and dialogues of ‘Dena Paona’ were written by Miron Mohiuddin. The script is written by the director Sadeque Siddiqui himself. Director Sadeque Siddui told this correspondent, “Since receiving the grant, Dighi was actually talking about playing the role of ‘Nirupama’ in this movie. At this time, Dighi is much more matured and acting quite well.
Her ritual behavior is impressive. I am going to do the work with her as I think Dighi is perfect for the role of ‘Nirupama’. I think the audience will watch a new Dighi in the movie ‘Dena Paona’. Best wishes for Dighi.”
