Dhaka Capitals have moved quickly in the build-up to the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League season, securing Bangladesh pace spearhead Taskin Ahmed as one of their direct signings.
The franchise, which drew significant attention during its debut campaign last year, is aiming to bolster its squad with experienced performers to mount a stronger challenge this season.
Initial discussions with Taskin had been held earlier and today Dhaka official revealed his poster on their social media handle Alongside Taskin, Dhaka have also secured opening batter Saif Hassan as part of their direct signings before the draft.
The 12th edition of the BPL begins on December 19, with the players’ draft scheduled later this month.
