Dhaka District North Chhatra Dal on Sunday organised an Iftar distribution event to mark the holy month of Ramadan, providing meals to pedestrians, laborers, and those in need.
The Iftar distribution programme was organised in front of Nabinagar Joy Restaurant in Ashulia on Sunday afternoon. Leaders and activists from different levels of the organisation participated in it.
Dhaka District North Chhatra Dal President Mohammad Tamiz Uddin and General Secretary Mahfuz Iqbal were present at the time.
After distributing Iftar, Tamiz Uddin said, “Ramadan is the month of compassion and restraint. Chhatra Dal is always by the side of the common people and will be in the future as well.”
Dhaka District North Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Sujan Sikder and Organizing Secretary Manjurul Haque Sourabh, were present among others.
The Chhatra Dal leaders expressed their hope that such initiatives will continue in the future. The local people expressed their satisfaction with the event and thanked the organisers.
