Dhaka Bank PLC has opened a booth to collect holding tax and trade licence fees from residents and business owners under the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) at its zonal office in Dhaka recently.
Sheikh Abdul Bakir, deputy managing director of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Akther Unnisa Shiuly, zonal executive officer of Zones 8-10 under DSCC, jointly inaugurated the collection booth, according to a press release.
From now on, residents and business owners under DSCC Zones 6-10 will be able to pay their holding tax and trade licence fees in person at the newly established booth.
Additionally, holding taxes and fees of DSCC can be paid in real time from any branch of Dhaka Bank.
The bank has also enabled DSCC residents to pay taxes and fees online in real time through the Dhaka Bank mobile app and internet banking since January 2025.
Earlier, the bank launched its first collection booth for DSCC holding tax and trade licence fees at Nagar Bhaban on July 2 this year.
